Weekend Update

Spring Break ended well...I drove back for the weekend and we took our Glastron 5000 Tri-Hull Swinger with a 135hp Johnson outboard, christened Mjolnir, to Lake Houston. We (me and my roomates) finally got some of the final hitches working on the ol' fixer-upper.
The Battery is working
The Fuel Regulator is not longer leaking
The Engine is running in ideal without dying
and The Primary Fuel Tank is finally flowing

On Sunday we took the lake to the far north end...apparently the lake is low and there are lots of sandbars/rocks...the result: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7273655@N03/418244767/ The prop is dead...but the boat is fine...just 150-200 claims to replace...ouch.

We had to walk/row it to shore...ask/beg for a tow and a ride back to our truck...a 2 hour ordeal in all and I almost got bit by a Cottonmouth. Fun pictures:

School is back and I'm swamped: Midterms, Awards Committee, Final Papers/Projects, Beer Bike Stuff, and more.

I am a damn good baker.

Also, I figured out why LJs are so emo...you only post when you are lonely...
